Welcome to the ACC's Program Directors and Graduate Medical Educators (PDGME) section site!  We are delighted you are here and hope you will take a few minutes to peruse the website.  Our Fellowship Program Tools & Resources page is full of useful Curriculum ideas, Faculty Development, Accreditation documents, and previous Webinars to help support your program.

The PDGME Section members include physicians, fellowship trainees, program administrators, and the multiple cardiovascular team members, all of whom have a common goal: Excitement and Collaboration around advancing the field of education and training of the Fellows in Training (FITs) across the spectrum of cardiovascular disease. Our desire is to facilitate the training of the future cardiovascular physician workforce and to serve as a resource for salient cardiovascular education and training issues.

Help your trainees gain the recognition they deserve. The Douglas P. Zipes Distinguished Young Scientist Award recognizes young physician scientists who have made outstanding contributions to the field of cardiovascular disease. The award winner will receive a $1,000 prize and an invitation to present their scientific work during ACC.25 in Chicago, all expenses paid. Nominations are due by July 29. Learn more.
