Just One More | The College’s old headquarters building in Bethesda, MD — the original Heart House — was sold in 2013. As approved by the Board of Trustees, the property was sold to Streetscape Properties, LLC , a real estate developer. The property is zoned for single family homes and ACC operated as a non-profit organization under a Special Exception granted by the county. Streetscape will utilize the property for which it was zoned and build single family homes. “I am thankful for the fond memories of attending sessions and meetings at the old headquarters, and am thankful that those of us in cardiology have a Heart House — somewhere we can call home,” said ACC President John Gordon Harold, MD, MACC.
