The Editorial Team for the ACC.org Cardiovascular Care Team Clinical Topic Collection recently developed a Quick Guide to Stress Testing for ED Evaluation of Possible ACS based on the 2021 AHA/ACC ASE/CHEST/SAEM/SCCT/SCMR Guideline for the Evaluation and Diagnosis of Chest Pain and other professional guidelines. This Quick Guide is designed to aid clinicians in selecting the most appropriate stress test for a narrow subset of patients: those who present to the ED with acute chest pain and possible ACS, excluding STEMI.
