The Cardio-Obstetrics Work Group provides a forum for member-led initiatives to advance the science, knowledge, clinical care, and advocacy of Cardio-Obstetrics matters for the membership of the College while improving the quality and value of cardiovascular care for patients.

Section Objectives

  • To provide a knowledge base for all members of the college as well as national and international colleagues through the publication of empiric scientific data, white papers and guideline statements
  • To support development of educational opportunities including CME events
  • To strengthen advocacy efforts and policy change to improve both maternal and fetal outcomes
  • To promote interdisciplinary and inter-societal collaboration in the field of cardio-obstetrics
