Whether its helping learners meet Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Maintenance of Certification (MOC) requirements, advance clinical knowledge or apply the latest science at the point of care, the ACC provides innovative, cutting-edge education in a variety of formats designed to support all members of the cardiovascular team, regardless of their preferred learning style and schedule.
Providing More Flexibility in the Collaborative Maintenance Pathway (CMP)
More than 6,400 learners are now enrolled in ACC's CMP program and participating in an alternate route to maintaining their certification. In 2022, the ACC increased the flexibility of the CMP by removing the seven-hour learning engagement requirement, allowing users to choose how much time to spend learning about the year's CMP topic(s) before working on the practice questions. The ACC also improved flexibility by extending the performance assessment windows from seven days to nine days each, covering two weekends for each window.
