Professional Bio:
Mauricio G. Cohen, MD, FACC, FSCAI is the Director of Structural Heart Interventions at Cleveland Clinic Florida. Formerly a Professor of Medicine and Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine between 2009 and 2023. He trained in interventional cardiology and clinical research at Duke University. In 2011, he received the “Stop Heart Disease Researcher of the Year Award” by the Florida Heart Research Institute. The same year SCAI recognized Dr. Cohen as an “Emerging Leader” in interventional cardiology. Dr. Cohen has more than 200 publications. His major research interests include transradial catheterization and intervention, high-risk PCI, transcatheter valve therapies and antithrombotic strategies in ACS and PCI.
