Professional Bio:

Dr. Goldberg is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine and Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant and is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He is Section Chief of the Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant Section of the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and is Vice Chair of Medicine for Informatics. He has served as the inaugural Chair of the Heart Failure Member Section of the American College of Cardiology, past Chair of the Member Section Steering Committee, the Executive Board of ACCPAC and the Lifelong Learning Committee. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees. He is the author of more than 90 journal articles and chapters and has lectured on heart failure, cardiac transplant, mechanical circulatory support, medical informatics and data analytics, sleep apnea and palliative care around the world.
