New Clinical Trial Tests Drug's Effectiveness in Preventing COVID-19
Listen as ACCEL Editor-in-Chief Dr. Spencer King interviews Dr. William W. O'Neill, professor at Henry Ford Hospital, regarding his latest trial, the WHIP COVID-19 (Will Hydroxychloroquine Impede or Prevent COVID-19) study. This study will enroll over 3,000 health care workers and first responders to test whether the anti-malarial drug hydroxychloroquine can prevent these workers from contracting COVID-19. Participants will be enrolled at Henry Ford Hospital Detroit.
