Poll Results: Acupuncture for Stable Angina
Our most recent poll addressed interest in the use of acupuncture to complement more traditional angina treatment modalities.
Just less than one quarter of respondents would not use. Just over half definitely would, and roughly another quarter might consider. Regarding any perceived risk of preventing important warning symptoms, only 20% felt it was a risk, and the remainder felt there was either no risk (55%) or a possible risk (25%). Thus, based on this small sample, further assessment of acupuncture as an adjunctive angina treatment strategy is worth considering.
Thanks to all who responded. Any comments are welcome.
