Overview:
This session will provide an overview of percutaneous LAA closure. Content will focus on providing an imaging perspective on ideal patient selection, risks, and imaging pearls to aid in procedural success. The session will conclude with a case-based discussion on challenging cases.

Learning Objectives:

  • Obtain a global perspective of the history and future of LAA closure.
  • Understand how TEE aids in the success of LAA closure planning, device implantation, and follow-up.
  • Learn about the evolving and complementary role of CT in LAA closure planning.
