Stephan Achenbach, MD, FACC Fausto J. Pinto, MD, PhD, FACC Dr. Stephan Achenbach graduated from Medical School at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany in 1993 and completed his training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at the associated university hospital. In 2002/2003, he was a research fellow at the Department of Radiology and Cardiology Division, Massachusetts General Hospital. Since 2012, he is the Chairman of the Department of Cardiology and Professor of Medicine at the University of Erlangen, Germany. His main clinical interests are interventional cardiology, general cardiology as well as cardiac imaging. His research is focused on cardiac interventions and cardiac imaging with a special focus on computed tomography of the heart and the use of imaging to support coronary and structural interventional procedures. He was the Founding President of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. He has been Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. He currently serves as the President of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC).
Professor and Dr. Fausto Pinto received his medical degree and PhD from Lisbon School of Medicine, University of Lisbon, Portugal and completed fellowships at Santa Maria University Hospital and Stanford University Medical School where he was Clinical Attending in the Echo lab. He is Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon, Professor of Cardiology and Head of the Cardiovascular Department. He was President and founder of the European Association of Echocardiography and President of the European Society of Cardiology. He is the current President of World Heart Federation and holds Fellowship from ESC, ASC, EACVI (European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging), SCAI and ASE as well as serves as an Honorary Member of several international societies. He was Editor in Chief of the Portuguese Journal of Cardiology for many years, and Member of the Editorial Board of several international journals. He published over 600 indexed articles and has presented over 1500 lectures/chairmanships at national and international meetings. His main areas of interest are cardiovascular imaging, among others.

He holds the Magerstadt Endowed Professor of Medicine Chair and is appointed Professor of Medical Social Sciences. Dr. Yancy is also an elected member of the National Academy of Medicine (2016) and the American Association of Physicians (2020).
Nanette K. Wenger, MD, MACC, MACP, is Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology at the Emory University School of Medicine, Chief of Cardiology at Grady Memorial Hospital, and a Consultant to the Emory Heart and Vascular Center. Dr. Wenger is a Past President of the Society of Geriatric Cardiology and Editor-in-Chief of the American Journal of Geriatric Cardiology. She has received several awards, has authored or coauthored over 1300 scientific and review articles and book chapters, and has chaired multiple conferences and committees.

Ed W. Childs, MD, FACS is the Professor and Chairman of Surgery at Morehouse School of Medicine. He received his bachelor's degree in molecular and cellular biology from the University of Texas at Dallas and his Doctor of Medicine from Texas A&M College of Medicine. He completed his postgraduate training in general surgery at the University of California-Davis. Dr. Childs co-edited Stigma and Prejudice with Dr. Rana Parekh and co-authored The Massachusetts General Hospital Textbook on Diversity and Cultural Sensitivity in Mental Health.

Randall N. Hyer, MD, PhD, MPH Vincent T. Covello, PhD Dr. Randall Hyer is a risk and crisis management consultant with broad experience including disease outbreaks, product safety concerns, reorganizations and downsizing, budget cuts, outbreak investigations, rogue employee mitigations, health hazard evaluations, and strategic communications. He is the Vice President for risk communication at the National Council for Radiation Protection and Measurement, advises the National Academy of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine, and lectures at Harvard University. Dr. Hyer has over 15 years of experience in biotechnology with vaccines, biologics, and biosimilars. As the Senior Vice President for Global Medical at Moderna, Dr. Hyer helped develop, communicate and manage the global rollout of the COVID-19 mRNA vaccine. In 2017, he was pivotal in engaging the scientific, medical and policy communities to help achieve FDA approval of a new adult hepatitis B vaccine (HEPLISAV-B), the first vaccine using a truly novel adjuvant.
Dr. Vincent Covello is the founder and Director of the Center for Risk Communication. A global expert and practitioner on risk, crisis, and high stress communications, he has authored or co-authored more than 150 articles in scientific journals and the author/editor of more than 20 books. One of Dr. Covello's most popular publications is "Effective Media Communication during Public Health Emergencies" (World Health Organization, 2005). His most recent book is titled "Communicating in Risk, Crisis, and High Stress Situations: Evidence Based Strategy and Practice" (Wiley, 2021). Dr. Covello's work has been applied nationally and globally to a wide range of topics, including disease outbreaks, radiological incidents, industrial accidents, food safety, hospital emergencies, climate change, and physician-patient communications. He has held numerous positions over his career including Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine and Environmental Sciences at Columbia University and a study director at the National Academy of Sciences.

Bill Cassidy, MD Bill Cassidy, MD, is the United States Senator for Louisiana. He attended Louisiana State University (LSU) for undergraduate and medical school, and in 1990, Senator Cassidy joined LSU Medical School teaching medical students and residents at Earl K. Long Hospital, a hospital for the uninsured. During this time, he co-founded the Greater Baton Rouge Community Clinic, a clinic providing free dental and health care to the working uninsured community. Following his successful efforts to lower the cost of health care, secure coastal restoration projects to protect Louisiana families from natural disasters, reform the nation's mental health system, and secure many other legislative accomplishments, Senator Cassidy was reelected in 2020 to his second term in the U.S. Senate.
