How to Start a Women’s Heart Program: A Toolkit
Women's Heart Centers improve the cardiovascular care of women with or at risk for cardiovascular disease. Annabelle Santos Volgman, MD, FACC, and Laxmi Mehta, MD, FACC, as well as other contributing members from ACC's Women in Cardiology and Cardiovascular Management Member Sections, including Toniya Singh, MD, FACC; Matthew Pierce, MD, MBA, FACC; and Ashley Wishman, MS, developed a toolkit focusing on how to start a heart center for women and how to manage the care of women with or at risk for cardiovascular disease.
