ACC's Sandra J. Lewis Mid-Career Women's Leadership Institute is seeking applications from mid-career women who are 12-21 years post-cardiovascular fellowship to take part in its inaugural cohort for the two-year transformative leadership development program. Applications are due by July 30. "The Institute is focused on the unique journey and distinct needs of the mid-career woman's phase of life, which provides professionals an opportunity to re-assess, re-imagine and re-invent their professional lives," said Sandra J. Lewis, MD, FACC. "While the mid-career leadership journey may serve as a professional renaissance for many, it is also a stage that requires unique guidance and targeted leadership development to successfully transition forward." Designed to provide mid-career female cardiovascular physicians with the essential skills, tools, and support to flourish during this distinct career phase, the program will launch with its first cohort in January 2022.
