The ACC held its annual sports cardiology conference, "Care of the Athletic Heart: Contemporary Concepts, Cases and Controversies," in June 2018 with more than 150 sports cardiology and sports medicine practitioners in attendance.

Jeffrey J. Hsu, MD, Fellow in Training (FIT) at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA, identifies the top 10 key questions addressed at the meeting. He notes that as a FIT, Care of the Athletic Heart was the ideal meeting to learn directly from the experts and network with other trainees looking to make an impact in this rapidly emerging field.
