As part of ongoing efforts to report meaningful outcomes and improve patient care, the STS/ACC TVT Registry is launching an open comment period for a new clinical prediction model to predict a poor outcome after mitral transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (TEER). The model, which will support patient counseling and decision-making, defines a poor outcome as 30-day death, stroke, heart failure readmission or no improvement in the Kansas City Cardiomyopathy Questionnaire (KCCQ).
