Smadar Kort, MD, FACC, has been selected as the editor of EchoSAP, the College’s popular self-assessment program on echocardiography. The College is planning to produce a new version of EchoSAP for release in 2018, and in her role as editor, Kort will ensure that users can prepare for the initial or recertification exam in echocardiography, stay abreast of new advances in the field, teach others and earn Continuing Medical Education credit. Kort is currently the clinical professor of medicine at Stony Brook University Medical Center in Stony Brook, NY. She is also the editorial team lead of the Noninvasive Imaging Clinical Topic Collection on ACC.org.
