JACC Retains Ranking as #1 CV Journal in the World
For the third year in a row, the Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC) ranked as the #1 cardiovascular journal in the world. According to the 2015 Impact Factors for Journals, JACC holds the top position among all 124 cardiovascular journals in scientific impact with its highest impact factor ever of 17.759, up from 16.503 in 2014. These 2015 Impact Factor results are based on articles published during the 2013 and 2014 calendar years, and are reflective of the combined efforts of former Editor in Chief Anthony DeMaria, MD, MACC, and current Editor in Chief Valentin Fuster, MD, PhD, MACC. The results also showed impact factors of 7.815, 7.630 and 7.218 for JACC: Cardiovascular Imaging, JACC: Cardiovascular Interventions, and JACC: Heart Failure, respectively. Among all other cardiovascular journals, the ACC publishes four of the top 10 in the world.
