To inform cardiovascular professionals on the latest findings surrounding heart transplant policy, JACC: Heart Failure  has developed a multi-publication "bundle" on the topic of heart transplant allocation. The bundle centers around two original research papers that analyze the impact of the 2018 UNOS policy changes, examine the value of current candidate rankings and offer suggestions to improve the allocation system. Invited commentaries from thought leaders representing a wide spectrum of expertise add context to these findings and provide valuable insight into the future of heart transplant allocation policy.
