Heart failure with preserved ejection fraction represents a large and growing population of heart failure patients today. JACC: Heart Failure is focusing on the growing body of literature with a special issue on this topic. To advance scientific understanding and patient care around this emerging epidemic, this uniquely themed issue will feature original research, clinical trials, meta-analysis or position statements from societies or advocacy groups. Topics spanning this theme will be considered. Interested authors should submit their papers via JACCSubmit-HeartFailure.org on or before March 2. Final publication is planned for the August 2018 issue of JACC: Heart Failure. Accepted papers will also be displayed on the JACC: Heart Failure website in an “online before print” format.
