The newest version of the Heart Failure (HF) Accreditation tool – HF v3 – is targeted for availability later this summer. The new version offers two separate designations – one for facilities that transfer or refer patients for transplant or other more advanced types of mechanical circulatory support and another for facilities that meet the criteria established for management of more advanced HF. "Whether you are part of a large academic transplant center or a small community referral center, HF v3 will give you the tools you need to improve upon all outcomes both financial, and, most importantly, the length and quality of life of the patients you serve," said Garrie Haas, MD, FACC, chair of the HF v3 Accreditation Committee.
