Happy Spring! We hope you had the chance to attend some of the FIT sessions at ACC.18 earlier this month, or read about them on Twitter (#ACCFIT) and Facebook. A special thank you to FITs on the ACC.18 programming committees and the organizers of the FIT Forums and FIT Lounge Sessions for their amazing work!

Congratulations to the FITs representing Minnesota for being the ACC FIT Jeopardy champions this year in an exciting competition between 35 State Chapters! In another close Jeopardy contest, the Program Directors Team beat the ACC Board of Governors and ACC Board of Trustees team, and Singapore won the International competition between Italy, Malaysia and Mexico. This month marks the transition to a new ACC year. Thank you to Poonam Velagapudi, MD, MS, our FIT Section chair, Akhil Narang, MD, past Section chair, and outgoing FIT Leadership Council members, Ashley Hardin, MD; Bryan LeBude, MD; David McNeely, MD, FACC; and David Snipelisky, MD, for their service and leadership. Another special thank you to Stefan Lefebvre and Kristin West, our tireless and amazing ACC staff! We are excited to welcome new FIT Council members Tanush Gupta, MD; Sena Kilic, MD; Arnav Kumar, MBBS; Emily Lau, MD; and Jennifer Rymer, MD, and all the FITs starting their terms on ACC Sections, workgroups, NCDR Registry committees and the leadership and early advocates academies. We look forward to hearing from you and seeing the great things you will accomplish within the College!
