LAAO Registry Now Open For Research Proposal Applications
The LAAO Registry research and publications subcommittee is now accepting research proposal applications (RPAs) for hypothesis-driven research studies that employ the baseline data collected in the registry. To be considered during this initial review cycle, investigators should submit their RPAs by noon ET on Oct. 16, 2017. Please note that the data currently available at this time are the baseline data; only those RPAs limited to baseline data will be considered. Proposals will be reviewed for feasibility and scientific merit. Each RPA also undergoes a competitive approval process for NCDR funding, which is used to support analysis conducted by an NCDR-contracted data analytic center. Datasets are not released to individual investigators or organizations. Learn more about the proposal process on CVQuality.ACC.org.
