The CV Team Section Writing Group, led by Vicki L. Groo, PharmD, created two new infographics to illustrate how over-the-counter (OTC) and herbal supplements interact with the cardiovascular system and medications for certain cardiovascular conditions. The infographics identify potentially harmful drug-drug interactions and include tables of common OTC and herbal supplements, their effects on the cardiovascular system, and recommendations for use.
