It is with great sadness that I announce the loss of one of our ACC Cardiovascular Team leaders, professors and mentors, Kay Blum, PhD, CRNP. Dr. Blum was not only a role model to all Cardiovascular Team members, she was also my mentor, and as such, I would like to pay tribute to her life. Her loss will be felt not only in the ACC community but by her family, friends, coworkers and students. Dr. Blum was a role model for future generations.
