Mathematica sent an email reminder on Jan. 25 to approximately 10,000 physician practices representing nearly 200,000 physicians regarding the ongoing Physician Payment Information Survey (PPIS) being conducted by the American Medical Association (AMA). The email came from PPISurvey@mathematica-mpr.com with the subject line: "Reminder: the AMA Needs Your Input to Support Fair and Accurate Physician Payment." Participation to date has been light and it is essential that cardiology practices chosen for the survey respond to ensure future accurate valuation.
