A recent ACC webinar provided a closer look at the potential payment impacts associated with the proposed 2015 Physician Fee Schedule and Hospital Outpatient rules. Of note, the Fee Schedule calls for an across-the-board cut of 20.9 percent starting in April 2015 as a result of the legally mandated Sustainable Growth Rate. Hospitals will receive a 2.1 percent increase in payment for outpatient services.
