The March issue of JACC: CardioOncology is dedicated to growing the body of knowledge surrounding the intersection between cancer and cardiovascular disease. Each of the six original research manuscripts and research letter detail new knowledge on the epidemiologic and biologic links between cancer and cardiovascular disease. It also features two state-of-the-art reviews – one on BRAF and MEK inhibitors and one on cardiotoxicity and the role of cardioprotection in cardio-oncology. Each provides evidence-based, actionable knowledge. Additional informative content includes two short form primers and two research letters, focused on topics in breast cancer, radiation therapy, anthracyclines and models of cardiotoxicity.
