JACC: CardioOncology Publishes First Issue
The first issue of ACC's newest JACC Journal, JACC: CardioOncology, is now online, providing a comprehensive new resource to better understand and apply evolving research surrounding the cardiovascular health of cancer patients and survivors.
Among the highlights are seven original research papers addressing safety and efficacy of drugs in preventing cardiotoxicity; blood pressure response to inhibitors; pre-diagnosis exercise and cardiovascular events in breast cancer; and more.
In addition, don't miss Editor-in-Chief Bonnie Ky's, MD, MSCE, FACC, guiding principles and vision for the journal, and hear from ACC President Richard J. Kovacs, MD, FACC, and American Society of Clinical Oncology President Howard A. Burris III, MD, on how cardio-oncology is "stronger together."
The quarterly, open-access journal is free to readers and available at JACC.org. Readers can opt into email alerts to receive notice of newly published content.
