Seeking FACC Mentors For Young Scholars Program
The ACC is looking for volunteer mentors to be part of the College's workforce diversity efforts and participate in the Young Scholars Program, an initiative of the Academic Section that aims to provide promising high school and college students with an introduction to the field of cardiology, while also strengthening the pipeline of talent for the future.
Led by Jacqueline Tamis-Holland, MD, FACC and Karol Watson, MD, PhD, FACC, this program is essential in providing pathways into cardiology. Expertise, experience and guidance from ACC members is crucial in making programs like this a success.
Get involved with this important initiative today, and help advance ACC's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy, as well as the career trajectory of the next generation of cardiologists. Click here for more information on mentor expectations, and submit your application here by April 18.
