ACC BOT Confirms 2025 Slate of New Officers and Trustees

The ACC Board of Trustees (BOT) has approved the College's newest officers and trustees who will assume their roles in March 2025 following ACC.25 in Chicago, IL.

These new officers, put forth by the ACC Nominating Committee, include:

  • Christopher Kramer, MD, FACC (President)
  • Roxana Mehran, MD, FACC (Vice President)
  • Samuel O. Jones, IV, MD, MPH, FACC (Trustee)
  • Geoffrey A. Rose, MD, FACC (Trustee)

"The ACC each year strives to select the most competent and dynamic president, vice president, and trustees to guide our Mission, Vision, and Strategic Plan goals while being aware of the strength of diversity and needed talents for our incoming leaders," said Nominating Committee Chair and ACC Immediate Past President B. Hadley Wilson, MD, MACC. "This year the Nominating Committee together with the Board of Trustees has selected several outstanding members who will lead the ACC to the next level of global leadership in the fight against the growing burden of cardiovascular disease."

In addition to the president, vice president and two new trustees, the full slate of officers and trustees who will lead the College following ACC.25, include: Cathleen Biga, MSN, FACC (Immediate-Past President), Akshay K. Khandelwal, MD, FACC (Treasurer), David E. Winchester, MD, MS, FACC (BOG Chair/ACC Secretary), Lee R. Goldberg, MD, MPH, FACC (Trustee), Bonnie Ky, MD, MSCE, FACC (Trustee), Sandra J. Lewis, MD, FACC (Trustee), Thomas M. Maddox, MD, MSc, FACC (Trustee), Andreas Merkl, MBA (Trustee), Pamela B. Morris, MD, FACC (Trustee), and Hani Najm, MD, FACC (Trustee).
