Thachil and Sinha talk with Drs. David Morrow and Elliott Miller regarding their December 2023 Journal of the American College of Cardiology publication, a multinational perspective on “Research Priorities in Critical Care Cardiology”. Drs. Morrow and Miller explore the challenges and opportunities in generating high-quality evidence for treating complex, critically ill cardiac patients. With limited clinical trials and guidelines specific to CCC, they examine the variation in cardiovascular intensive care unit practices and identify key areas for CCC research, challenges in the field, and important strategies to enhance future progress.
