The “Emerging Faculty Leadership Academy,” which has provided evidence-based educational strategies to many early career members since its creation in 2005 thanks to a generous gift from the Michael Wolk Heart Foundation, will expand in the coming year to assist past Emerging Faculty graduates and mid-career cardiology professionals in further enhancing their teaching skills.

Thanks to an additional gift from the Michael Wolk Heart Foundation, the expanded program will extend learning opportunities designed to ensure a diverse pipeline of expert faculty who have a strong understanding of new and emerging digital technologies to engage the clinician learner.

“Education is a cornerstone of ACC’s Mission and Vision,” said Janice Sibley, ACC Executive Vice President. “The College is so thankful to Past President Michael Wolk, MD, MACC, and the Michael Wolk Heart Foundation for continuing to grow our portfolio of education that furthers our members in their professional careers.”
