Webinar Overview

This webinar, co-hosted by the ACC Cardiovascular Imaging Section and JACC: Cardiovascular Imaging, will discuss the International Position Statement on Pericardial Disease, recently published in JACC: Cardiovascular Imaging. The webinar will provide an overview and framework for the statement including a case presentation, how to use multi-modality imaging in patient management decisions, and the role of therapies, namely integration of IL-1 blockers into clinical practice.

Key Objectives/Learning Outcomes:

1. Understand the rationale of the new pericardial disease position statement.
2. Learn how to incorporate multi-modality imaging in the management of pericardial disease.
3. Learn how to integrate IL-1 inhibitors in clinical practice.
4. Recognize how imaging can be used to enhance decision-making and longitudinal management of pericardial disease.
