A
dedicated CCA Liaison in your state
Charge
Each Liaison will serve as the state/local representative of the ACC. Working with the Cardiac Care Team Committee and ACC Staff, Liaisons will promote CCA membership to non-members, promote national educational opportunities, and energize current CCA members at the Chapter level by providing them with opportunities to participate in local activities. When appropriate, the Liaisons will work with Chapter Governors and Chapter Executives to identify opportunities for and expand CCA member participation. They will also serve as the conduit for identifying the next generation of CCA leaders at the Chapter and National levels.
Benefits of CCA Liaison Working Group Membership
- The opportunity to lead: you will guide and develop CCA activities at the Chapter level including educational programs, recruitment campaigns, renewal campaigns, and team based programs in partnership with FACC members.
- Exposure: National Committees recruit appointees from the CCA Liaison Working Group. Great visibility and a great stepping stone for your career development. ACC Leadership routinely selects those members for appointment who have distinguished themselves at the Chapter level.
- Travel Reimbursement: Receive up to $500 in reimbursable funds for travel to ACC’s Annual Meeting / i2 Summit.
- Professional development.
- Offer input on local issues and national education via the Cardiac Care Committee, the Nurse Education Steering Committee, and the ACC Board of Governors.
- ACC National will help you with marketing and program development.
