ACC chapters are valuable state and regional organizations for ACC members. The College has 48 chapters across the United States and Puerto Rico! Chapters provide ACC members with the opportunity to discuss local and regional concerns, and act as a leader in the resolution of issues that directly affect them. Participation in local chapters is the ladder to leadership opportunities at the national level.
Key chapter benefits include:

- Representation in state legislatures
- Representation to state regulatory agencies and third-party payers
- Representation on state medical society boards
