Professional Bio:

Dr. Canonico works as Assistant Research Professor of Medicine, Division of Cardiology, University of Colorado (CO, US) and as Clinician Scientist at CPC Clinical Research (CO, US). He completed the residency in cardiovascular diseases at University of Sassari (Italy) and PhD in Clinical and Experimental Medicine at University of Naples Federico II (Italy). During the training he developed a great interest in the field of clinical cardiology. Since the beginning of education, the main focus of his research activity has been non-invasive management of coronary, peripheral artery disease and heart failure. Dr. Canonico has conducted and continues to participate in clinical trials as well as observational studies on coronary, peripheral artery disease and heart failure. He is also affiliated with the most important national and international cardiology societies. He serves as editorial board member and peer reviewer of several journals. Dr. Canonico is part of Vascular Disease Section Leadership of the American College of Cardiology.
