Professional Bio:

Chonyang L. Albert, MD FACC FHFSA is an advanced heart failure and transplant cardiologist at Robert Wood Johnson, in New Brunswick, NJ. She currently serves as the Medical Director of Left Ventricular Assist Devices (LVAD) and Mechanical Circulatory Support. A graduate of Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, she completed internship and residency at the University of Pennsylvania before completing cardiovascular medicine and advanced heart failure fellowships at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. She served as an attending advanced heart failure and transplant cardiologist at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. She has particular academic interest in myocarditis, sarcoidosis, cardiogenic shock, LVAD, and mechanical circulatory support.
