Professional Bio:
Sandeep Krishnan, MD recently graduated from fellowship in interventional cardiology and structural/valvular heart disease at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, WA. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine summa cum laude and graduated with distinction from his internal medicine residency at Emory University School of Medicine. He completed a cardiovascular diseases fellowship at the Cedars-Sinai Heart Institute where he was selected for the coveted and highly prestigious ACC/Merck fellowship awarded to only four cardiology fellows across the country for fellow-initiated research. Dr. Krishnan has served in various leadership positions within the American College of Cardiology including serving on the Health Affairs Committee and the PAC Board of Directors. He has been recognized as a future leader of the college and is part of the ACC’s Leadership Academy and Emerging Advocates cohorts. In addition to his role on the ACGME Board of Directors, Sandeep is also the Vice Chair of the Resident and Fellows Section of the Washington State Medical Association. He has remained active in the AMA throughout his career and was most recently chairman of the Committee of Business and Economics in 2015-2016.
