The ACC Early Career Section serves as the professional home for individuals within the first seven years of independent practice. Our primary mission is to foster the active involvement of Early Career members within the College as we strive to transform cardiovascular care and improve heart health. We firmly believe that becoming a member of our section will facilitate both your professional and personal growth. To accomplish our objectives, we have established a series of work groups. Volunteering to serve in these groups is an excellent way to engage more deeply with the ACC.

As chair of this section, it is my great honor to invite all Early Career members to join us and make valuable contributions. For more information, please feel free to reach out to me at newton.wiggins@gmail.com or to Kate Bell at kbell@acc.org.

I look forward to working with you!

Sincerely,
Newton Wiggins, MD, FACC
Chair, ACC Early Career Leadership Council
